Florida at Arizona -110 O/U 5.5
Arizona's six-game losing streak has a good chance to end tonight as the offensive inept Florida Panthers come to town. The Panthers have been held to two goals or less in four straight games and have posted only seven total goals scored during that span. Florida is also a very below average team defensively and it has been even tougher for them to keep pucks out of their own net since Roberto Luongo their #1 goaltender went down to injury a few weeks ago. James Reimer has not been all that sharp in between the pipes for Florida in place of the injured Luongo and you could make a solid argument that Arizona will have the better goalie in this matchup with Antti Raanta back in net for the Coyotes and finally healthy after dealing with injuries earlier on in the season. Florida is not a team I trust laying a price on the road even against a league worst Arizona Coyotes squad but I'm willing to give Arizona a chance to get back on track in this game tonight. Yes, it's true Arizona is not a good hockey team and yes they are on a current 6 game losing streak but they have faced nothing but tough foes lately playing Pittsburgh, Tampa Bay, Chicago, Columbus, Boston and Vegas during their current slide. This is most assuredly a step down in class for Arizona and a winnable hockey game for the Coyotes against a struggling opponent. It's worth noting that Florida is a winless 0-4 in their last 4 trips to Arizona to face the Coyotes. Expect that losing trend to continue tonight.
